I am glad I took this challenge to canvass these emerging technologies.

My favorite session involved the technorati site. I have since been on it numerous times at home and it is now marked as one of my Favorites. A second favorite lesson was the podcasting tutorial; this will definitely be an area I will explore in depth.

The lesson which interested me the least involved the YouTube facility. I can certainly grasp the value of such collaborative efforts if they are specifically and narrowly focused and if measures are taken to control access and/or exclude the paparazzi of the internet.

I would participate again.

P.S. I would like to offer a special thank you to Krista Bolan @ Palomino library for her assistance and help during these learning sessions. She was always supportive of my efforts and gracious with her comments.

The information on the Greater Phoenix Digital Library site about the structure of the site is superb.

The title I found is the Brandenburg Concertos Nos 1-6. It will be the first item I download to my mpc3.

This is a great tutorial. I am not sure I now know how to add an RSS feed for a podcast to my bloglines account but I will continue to play with this until I do ( maybe not by April 7 but soon).

A site which has captured my attention is LearnOutLoud, especially the Great Speeches in History series. I will be spending a lot of time at this resource.

The admonition in the You too can YouTube lesson about encountering a "lot of trash" on these types of sites was certainly true. Nonetheless, nuggets are to be found among the content.

My exploration of this site took me to farecast.com. What an interesting idea! I will have to play around with this site at home to determine whether it is just another sales venue (with a unique gimmick) or if its assertions about the timing of purchases truly separates it from others.

I am not sure I derived as much from this exercise re Web-based apps as was intended. At some point, I will have to explore this subject at home and learn more about this array of applications .

I enjoyed playing around in the wiki sandbox. I did acess the spls Learning 2.0 Wiki but I am not sure if I was successful in creating a login account. I was successful in acessing the Favorite TV page and did add a comment about Animal Planet.
