L15

I enjoyed Rich Anderson's comments on the threats to a full implementation of Library 2.0.

It is laudable to seek to eliminate barriers between patrons and information, especially as it relates to research. I would caution those who continually push the technological options in libraries to remember that in certain areas, e.g., books of fiction or children's picture books, hard/print options will rule for a long time.

I do not ever want to reach the point where my only option at a library to obtain a best-seller is restricted to a non-print choice.
